The Inter-ministerial Committee for the Coordination of Peripheral State Administration (CICAPE) is responsible for the coordination of the actions of the Peripheral State Administration with the different ministerial Departments.
The CICAPE has the following functions:
- Improve coordination in actions of the Peripheral State Administration with the different ministerial Departments and their public organizations, if appropriate.
- Encourage communication and exchange of information between the Peripheral State Administration and their public organizations.
- Propose general criteria and basic guidelines for the Peripheral State Administration in its relations with other Public Administrations.
- Issue reports, when requested by the competent bodies, in relation to the regulatory projects in terms of the Peripheral State Administration.
- Establish the sources of information in relation to actions and projects to be developed by the ministerial Departments and their public organizations, in the field of the Peripheral State Administration.
- Carry out all those functions required to achieve the general objective of coordinating the Peripheral State Administration.
