The Latin American International Foundation for Public Policies and Administration, FIIAPP is responsible for the "development of activities related to the creation, promotion or consolidation of the public institutions within the areas of Democratic Governance, State Reform and Modernization of the Public Administrations and any others that it may be assigned within the field of international cooperation”, understanding that inefficient governance hinders economic and social development as much as efficient government promotes it.
Even when an important part of its activity lies within the framework of Spanish cooperation in development, by assuming the channelling role, along with other public and private entities, in recent years, the FIIAPP has increased its presence and participation in other programmes designed and funded by supra-national Entities and Organizations (European Union, World Bank, Iber-American Development Bank, etc.), and has managed to increase its presence in these international forum, thanks to the work carried out.
Along with this instrumental role, the FIIAPP also carries out important work towards the development of its own activities, particularly those related to training, which it designs and funds directly.
The objectives of this Foundation include:
